Hi everyone,
We have been writing about our favorite animals. We created a Google doc,
chose our animal and wrote about it. My favorite animal is an lion and I wrote about it cause I like wild animals and their really fast and cute. I wish I could see a friendly lion in real life.
Here are facts I wrote about the lion
The lion is a wild animal.
It has four legs and one long tail. It has a black nose. At the back of its tail, it has a black tip too. Lions are a light brown color. The male lions have a hairy mane around its face.
It lives with its family. It eat other animals. It looks for food. It runs after animals so it can eat them. They eat zebras and antelopes.
Lions have very sharp claws and teeth.

ROAR!!!I like some of the descriptive words you have used.I like how you told us what the lion looks like and what they like to eat.You wrote that you would like to see a friendly lion.I remember a few years ago they used to have lions at Orana Park and you could drive through the enclosure.The lions would sometimes climb onto the car.We would need to keep the windows wound up so they couldn't get in the car.What is the hairy part around the lions head called?Have a great day.
